I contacted multiple companies to receive a quote to move a vehicle on about 200 miles. Silver Express came across as the most upfront company I spoke with. While there were a few speed bumps in getting the pick up to occur, this wasn't an issue, and the company remained in total contact, updating us every step of the way. The speed bumps were mainly due to the shortness of the trip, and having to schedule a short notice pick up with the parties having possession of the vehicle. So, not entirely their fault. This is not even what I knocked 1 star off for. It was the delivery. I was told at first it would be the same day as the pick up. However, once it was picked up, I was told it would be first thing the next morning, between 8 and 8:30. I informed them I had an important medical appt. I had to go to, and leave by 9:30. They said they had one drop off about 80 mile away, and then the would be right down. They didn't show up until 10:30, making me almost miss my appointment (the dr allowed me to come in later). Then, they showed up with a trailer (a 2 auto trailer) with a second vehicle on it. Tis seemed a little odd, as the were to drop one vehicle off, then come straight to me. So, it would seem the driver decided to pick up another vehicle before dropping mine off.
Anyways, if it were not for my appt, it would have been no big deal. The vehicle made it safe, with no issues. So other than the late delivery, I was totally satisfied, especially with Christina and her professionalism. The cost was exactly as quoted, and no funny business with the contract after pickup, like you hear with other companies.
