AGT Over Charged Me

My personal experience with Atlantic Global Transport, 1005 Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Head, NY 11545 has left me with the feeling very frustrated with the situation. I hope by writing this letter and giving my personal experience other customers will not have to go through the same ordeal and that something can be done to stop this kind of deceptive business practices.

I contracted with AGT for the pick up and delivery of a truck on 11/15/03. The price signed for on the contract was $650 - Like many others when the vehicle arrived on 12/01/03 I was told I had to pay $75 more than our contracted price or the truck would be placed in a storage facility and I may never get it. I was out of town and my wife went to the local police and they suggested paying the extra now and resolving the situation later. She paid the extra $75 and I have approached the company like many others in efforts to resolve the situation.

At first I was told by Diane that she would check with her driver and see why I was charged the extra $75. but she did not call back. Now after 15 days I have been treated rude, hung up on, told that there is nothing I can do - I have yet to get a response from the e-mails I have sent to them and certainly hope there is something I can to do.
