Fraud!

I was assigned a driver and was told I would have to meet him at a location nearby because he couldn’t actually pull up to my home. So I had to hire someone who could drive me to meet him at the nearest truck stop so I would have a ride back home. I was fine with paying a person to do this until I arrived on location just to have the driver refuse my vehicle. He said my car would not fit on his truck due to size and that obviously Sonic had gotten the type of car I had mixed up. He was extremely upset as well as me because he had driven 300 miles to pick up my car. I immediately called sonic and informed them of how upset I was and that I needed my car picked up that day. I spoke to a guy and he said he was Ariana’s assistant. I explained to him I needed my car gone that day and that I needed my deposit back. He assured me that the transaction was pending and the charge would go back on my account and Ariana would call. She never called back to this day. Fast forward to today and the charge is still there. I called sonic and the assistant said Ariana was not available again. I had to get upset with him for him to finally put her on the phone. She was no help! Extremely rude and said that I signed the contract and the deposit is nonrefundable if I cancel the driver. I never cancelled the driver. They cancelled me. So I found another carrier to take my car the same day because I was not going to be available any other time to meet a driver. Sonic took it upon themselves to assign a driver for another day and when they called, I said I no longer need your services since you failed to deliver services on our original agreed date. She argued her point and said it wasn’t her fault my car would not fit on the dispatched truck. Well honey it is your fault that you sent someone to pick up my car and weren’t able to deliver the services as promised. She refused to give me my deposit back because I did not use the second driver. I didn’t need him. I found someone else who was able to pick up on the date I needed it. It appears that some fraudulent things are going on with this transaction.

Dear Customer, we appreciate you got back to us. As per our records, we found you to carriers within 5 business days from first available pick up date for the agreed price. According to the contract if customer wants to cancel prior to 5 business days expiration or when the carrier is already assigned, he/she may be responsible for cancellation fee, that's why you deposit became non-refundable. We hope for your understanding.
