We received this order on 7/26. The customer’s vehicle ready date was 8/3 but requested that pickup be as close to 8/13 but absolutely not after and could not deliver until 8/18. We dispatched the order on 8/8 with estimated pickup 8/11 and estimated delivery 8/18. Apparently there were some unexpected delays with an unforeseen breakdown with the truck that were communicated with the customer.
It is unfortunate that the carrier did not keep better contact with our customer and we apologize for this. Because there are unforeseen delays, we never advise customers to stay home and sit by the phone waiting for a driver; however provide several contact numbers for example, home phone, cell phone and work phone to avoid similar circumstances.
