Dee was very pleasant and professional on the phone. Pickup was a day earlier than promised, which was good, but driver only had my info on destination side, and not the contact name and number at the origin site. He tried to call when he arrived close to the pickup destination, but I was in the shower. When I called him back, he said he waited and his dispatcher told him to go to the next pickup. I convinced him that he was only a few miles away from my Mom's house, the person responsible for the auto, and she could meet him wherever he was. He was nice enough to wait and the pickup went off without a hitch. Got to Nevada in 5 days, just in time for my daughter to take the car to college in CA. Dee did call the day of pickup and apologize for the cancellation of my transport. Evidently the dispatcher had called her and told her they told the driver to go on when he couldn't reach me. She was surprised when I told her my car went on some one's truck, and it better make it here to Nevada!! All in all a very conscientious effort by Specialty and car arrived early , which was worth the little extra money they charge over some competitors. A little better communication with the carriers they use would be a good idea.
