We at Specialty Mobile appreciate this customer’s review. The reason why a flat bed delivered the vehicle to the customer is due to the fact that in the area the customer lives in it is difficult for a large truck and trailer to maneuver. Under no circumstances are carriers permitted to ask for additional money, they are in fact under contract for the amount of money required for the delivery. Asking for additional money will ultimately lead to no further relationship with the carrier. The customer was correct in stating that he would contact us, because we would have in fact stopped this immediately.
As stated by the terms and conditions that customers agree to before proceeding with a transport order; item 6, Mechanical function, exhaust assembly, under carrier, alignment, suspension, tuning of engine or car alarms. That being said, we are not, nor is the carrier responsible for unusual noises.
