I hired Specialty Mobile No one else to transport my car. I was told there would be door to door service which is one of the reasons I choose Specialty Mobile along with their 5 star rating.

Corey and Dee were wonderful. The request and the service seemed to be going smoothly. Then I called to find out why I had not been contacted for a pick up date and that is when it all started.

I did not receive door to door service. In the end after going thorugh my insurance company, what I received was 2,000 in damage on a Volvo, a driver who had alcohol on his breath when he took my car, a driver who slept in my car and left not only his stench but his footprints on my leather!! As well as, A driver who wanted to come meet me, and let HIM drive my car to his truck or to come to him and take a taxi home, as well I had to take a taxi to him to pick up my vehicle. This transport service that Specialty Mobile uses is THP lines, which I am now in the process of reporting to the Attorney Generals office in Arizona and Ohio and an attorney.

I was told by THP lines as well as Corey that the door to door service was to take 7 to 9 days , I did not receive mt car until day12. Why, my driver was in Arizona with a family member which he stops to see while claiming to be waiting for a customer for 2 days. Ther are not suppost to wait days for a customer, then the rest of us do not get our cars in a timely fashion.

The driver Vic said he was going to call me along the way to update me and everytime I called after day 9 he never called me back ever!!!! I had to keep calling him.

The reason for the lack of door to door service was where I lived which was BULL. I lived no more than a mile from where semi trucks go to the port in NYC every day, why did I have to go to Queens NY at 9pm at night along side of a Highway??? In the dark!! In San Francisco where I lived I lived no more than 2 miles from a highway where there is a service road and a turn around for semi trucks. The reason for this by Corey, I do not understand that!!!! HUM??

I called Corey to inform him of the damage he said he would call me back he did but only one time!!! I had to call him 5 more times to find out why the owner of THP lines was not contacting me and he said I do not know maybe it is because he is finishing a big house he is building, Yeah on my money!!!! The owner is a foreginer and pretends he is not the owner when he answers the phone, they do not call back, and I sent them pictures of my car and the damage, I have heard nothing. THP has never called me back to this day! I have had to make a claim to my insurance company and I just received my car back with the damage fixed. 2,000 later and 17 more days without my car.

I thought I lucked out with this company and I was so thirlled, what a mistake!

I even went so far as to tell Corey that this car was a gift from someone who parished in 911 and this car was my life to please help me get it fixed, not a call back to this day as to what happened while dealing with THP lines. Corey did not even offer to pay for the damage and get his money back from THP lines himself! Corey hired them!

Please if you use these companies find out who will be transporting your car and look it over no matter how long it takes and do not sign or give money to anyone unless you are satisfied, and by the way do not believe what this company says to you it is your money that is the bottom line NOTHING ELSE MATTERS !!!! By the way if your car is not top of the line they wont sleep in their truck and watch it unless it is a new Porsche Cayano!!!!! As per Vic the driver OOPs was i suppost to tell you that??? Good luck!

To Our future customers: There are several variables that have to be considered when seeking our service to move your vehicle. We are a broker and a carrier; whether we personally transport your vehicle or we use a carrier that we are affiliated with, we have legal documentation of authority permits and insurance coverage. After the load has been established and the driver has been assigned we have documentation on file, and you as the customer are privileged to this information for your records. The insurance covers the amount of your vehicle; the only thing the insurance of the carrier does not cover are acts of God or road debris. The carrier is responsible for the deductible. If in fact there is a need to file a claim for damages, not only would you have the contact information but also the insurance information to file a claim directly with the company. It is our responsibility to direct you in the proper channels to take, not to handle the claim for you. Corry empathizes with you, but at this point the matter is out of his hands. We offer door-to-door service, and this means, and is explained to customer that door-to-door is as door-to-door as the trucks can get. If in fact you live on a narrow street or cul-de-sac, it is greatly appreciated that you the customer suggest a close convenient spot for the driver to meet you. These trucks are so large that even if we think that the driver would be fine, there are several locations that drivers are not permitted by the city ordinance to enter. This particular customer had a vehicle in New York City, which without saying is one of the most difficult areas in the country for a driver of a semi with a car hauler to maneuver. After an order is placed we need to work with a 7 – 10 day window for pickup, and delivery across country is 7 – 14 days. There are times when this process can, and many times does happen much quicker. Unfortunately, there are other vehicles on the trailer with your vehicle. There are delays occasionally that are no fault of the driver. When dealing with many customers on the trailer, sometimes there are emergencies that will delay the delivery, in the instance that this customer is referring to he was delayed due to another pickup, but still arrived at the destination prior to the 14-day period. When estimating originally it was not something that could have been predicted by the driver when the vehicle was picked up. I do however fail to see the legitimacy of the customer’s comments about “foreign” or “stench”. We at Specialty Mobile do not discriminate based on nationality. Understandably she is upset for good reasons, but insinuating that the driver was drunk or insulting his personal hygiene or nationality is more than a little off color on her part. If in the event that she was concerned with drinking
