My requirements were to move a 1941 Ford Sedan Delivery that did not run, had no brakes and was loaded with extra parts (well packed on a pallet in the cargo bay). I submitted an online form to Specialty Mobile Systems over a weekend. I received a return phone call in about one business day with a quote ($1095) that was less than I would have spent moving the vehicle myself. A transporter was located the next day and my vehicle was picked up on Saturday, the first day it was available and ready to go. My seller reported that the driver was very professional and the loading went smoothly, even though it was snowing lightly at the time. The driver called me the following Monday evening to tell me he would arrive on Tuesday - one day earlier than the initial estimate. He called again Tuesday morning to say that traffic in Los Angeles was slower than expected and that he would arrive a couple of hours later. Due to the excellent communication, we both arrived at the drop off point at exactly the same time. Unloading was done carefully and the driver volunteered to help me load the vehicle on to my car dolly for the final mile to my home. Following the delivery I received a follow-up call from Specialty to make certain everything had gone according to plan.

I have moved six hobby cars in the last five years and rate my experience with Specialty Mobile Systems and Anderson & Beck Transport among the best. They are friendly, they call when they say they will call and they deliver on schedule. The driver was professional and treated my car with care. The truck and related equipment appeared to be well maintained and operated smoothly. I recommend these services to anyone with a vehicle to move.
