This was my first time shipping a vehicle and because of my job timing was of the essence; I couldn't afford delays.

I originally placed my order with a DIFFERENT shipper and was given a time estimate for pick up. The OTHER carrier could not meet their own time guideline, and it became exceedingly difficult to get in contact with them. I requested to speak to a manager and got no reply. I then found this website and selected Specialty Mobile Systems based on their feedback record.

For my transaction, Specialty Mobile only acted as the broker. However, they secured a pretty good shipper in a reasonable amount of time given the short notice and communicating with them was never a problem. The staff was friendly and professional. My truck got the DV treatment and was placed in a prime spot on the carrier. It arrived without a scratch and with only the dust from the cross country trip. The drivers were good to work with too.

Bottom line: I urge you to pay close attention to the feedback left on this web site. Also look to see who is a member of the BBB and who isn't. My experience with the OTHER carrier mirrored their marginal ratings on this site (I'll be giving them feedback as well). My experience with Specialty Mobile Systems earned them 5-stars from a very demanding customer.
