SMS transporters were up front and honest about there ability to deliver my vehicle within the number of days that I requested. From my first available date, they had a carrier pick my truck up within 5 days from my neighbor in NC who was watching it for me. SMS let me know that a carrier was assigned, but they were off on when pick up and drop off were going to be by the driver. However, they did give me a number to the carrier, who gave me the driver's number to coordinate directly. The drop off occurred 2 days later in RI without a glitch. The driver had all of the pertinent info that I passed initially through SMS (Phone numbers for myself and my neighbors, addresses, requested dates, and requested top placement on the hauler.) I would definitely consider using SMS again in the future.
