This is our second time using Specialty Mobile Systems. We shipped two minivans from California to Michigan. They quoted a price initially of $1990 (total for both vehicles). This ended up being too low because of rapidly rising fuel prices. We later found out that their quoted price was not guaranteed. They had to increase it by $300 per vehicle to find a driver who was willing to transport our vehicles. This isn't the fault of Specialty Mobile Systems; it's just inherent to using a broker to find a transport company. It would have been nice to know that the price wasn't guaranteed up front, but that's a minor quibble.

Eventually, they found a driver who would take our cars for the increased price. The driver (Dynasty Auto Transport) was prompt and courteous (he waited until after he arrived at the meeting place before calling us, so that we wouldn't have to wait for him to unload the car). Both minivans arrived without damage (or even much dirt).

Overall, we were satisfied with our experience. It took a little longer and cost more than we anticipated, but we got our minivans safe and sound for a fair price. We would use Specialty Mobile Systems again.
