Considering I picked about the worst possible time to transport a vehicle (right around the time Katrina hit) everything went quite smoothly. It did take a couple days longer than I had hoped for, however I place no blame on either Specialty Transport or the driver they appointed since I realize that the gas shortages caused by the hurricane had everything to do with it. The driver was also good about keeping me updated on his progress during the trip whenever he could. When he did arrive I was happy to see his truck was a covered transport when I had only contracted for an open trailer which was a real added bonus. The only minor complaint I had was that there was some grease on the car, but I'm sure that's just par for the course when transporting a car, and the driver was very good about cleaning it all off with a rag before leaving. Most importantly the car arrived fully intact without any damage which was my greatest concern.
