Disappointing to say the least

After a lot of research and largely based on the reviews on the board, I picked SMS. I accepted their quote, was told the pick up would be in about two weeks, and the next call would be to tell me the pick up date. Two weeks later I hadn't heard from them. After I sent several emails over several days, they contacted me to tell me that the problem was that "my" price was too low. I could either raise it or get a refund. I raised it the amount they suggested. Nothing for another week, after some more emails, they told me that they had no prospects for completing the job. So I cancelled and am told I will get a refund. That's very different experience than I expected based on this board and their representations when I signed up. They were pleasant enough, but they wasted a month of my time for nothing.

We apologize for this customers’ poor experience and inconveniences. Under normal circumstances we work with a pickup window of 1 – 10 days, and delivery is 7 – 14 days after pick up. There are instances when either the origination or destinations are more difficult, and can take longer than anticipated. If we are not successful in getting vehicles picked up in correlation with time restraints, there is an option to try to add more money to the COD (paid directly to the driver) in attempts to get vehicles picked up quicker, or we can continue to search for a driver even if it surpasses the original pickup window, which of course in either case is the decision of the customer. In this customers’ situation our efforts were not successful. Unfortunately his quote was too low originally and even with adding money to the COD it did not happen due to the difficulty of his destination. He will be getting a full refund from us because we were not able to assist him with the transport of his vehicle. Amy/Specialty Mobile
