I call my Speciality Mobile Systems move an "all american" move.
Since the move was a long one (New Jersey to Oregon),
SMS contracted with another vendor who turned out to be
this bloke with a mid-western accent and an open truck carrying
a registration plate from a mid-western state. The price was
unbeatable. That is one lesson for the tech folks to learn to
reduce their costs without outsourcing: try an all-american
mid western state.

I did have one surprise though. I was expecting house to
house delivery, but was told that since the truck was so large,
he did not want to down any trees, so he wanted me
to bring the car to a public area. Guess that is as good as it
comes with "door to door" delivery. During collection time, the
car was delivered on the shoulder of a highway. In both cases,
I was apprehensive that it is not legal and the cops might
show up.

The car is running good and is not damaged. Bob, the driver,
was honest and understanding. I would go with them again.
