I contacted Specialty Mobile to arrange for the shipping of my car from Maryland (DC area) to California (Silicon Valley area). I did so based on the volume and quality of the reviews based on this web site and was impressed with their courteousness and responsiveness. Their bid was competitive, and they were the only one of three or four companies I contacted that found a shipping company willing to hold the car in California for a few days (I didn't know my arrival date at the time). There was a little bit of miscommunication with the shipper about the exact pick-up date, but that was partially my fault for not being exactly clear about my schedule, and a little bit the result of the fact that the person I was dealing with there didn't speak great English. It wasn't any fault of Specialty Mobile though. They did a great job and I would choose them again. There are some companies' whose bids come in slightly cheaper, but I was not impressed with their attitude toward customers, or some of the feedback that was posted on this web site. Your car is a valuable asset, and it helps to go with a known quantity like Specialty Mobile that values its customers.
