I researched about 20 different companies before selecting Specialty Mobile. I read horror stories about the cheap carriers. I wanted my car within a week with no issues, and after reading the reviews, and speaking with Don (the owner), I chose Specialty. My car was picked up within 24 hours of paying the broker fee. I was hoping Specialty would have pulled me the whole way, but one of their carriers grabbed the business. This company (Shorty's) was OK. They delivered my car from Minnesota to Florida in a week. I thought communication could have been better. I felt that I had to initiate most of the comunication. They followed my loading directions exactly. I was top loaded. The car was dirty, but otherwise in great shape. The only issue I have is that the mileage was not listed on the bill of lading. Instead, the carrier wrote the license plate number. I had a little heartburn with this. The drivers were alright. I accomodated them by allowing them to offload, and drive the car to my house. They were not rude, but they were in a rush to get rolling. Overall, I would rate my experience as very good. Car delivered on time, unmolested, and without any major issues.
