This is my third time using Specialty Mobile. The way this works seems to be like this: Specialty Mobile puts your details out on their network. They are kind of like brokers. When one of their transportation partners decides they want to take on your move, they contact Specialty Mobile directly. Then SM gets in touch with you and gives you the details as to when the car will be picked up. I have had 3 different transporters deliver my vehicles.

My scheduled pick up was in Dalton GA. SM typically allows for 10 days from the time you contact them about picking up a car. My 10 day range fell right around Memorial day. So, I guess the transporters weren't signing up to take my car because of the holiday. But, it was picked up shortly thereafter and delivered a little early.

I think Specialty Mobile has cultivated a list of good transporters and that is how they get consistently good ratings. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
