It was a pleasure to work with Specialty Mobile Systems (SMS). Dee and Cory were very honest, accommodating, and pleasant throughout, and their selected driver was as efficient as they promised.

I wanted to ship a brand new Ford Explorer from my home in Connecticut to my son's college dormitory in Denver in the middle of January. Cory was extremely straightforward from the beginning and informed me that he was having trouble finding drivers bound for Colorado but that he was happy to give it a try. I explained that I would be satisfied if the truck arrived in Denver by March 12th. Because my son is a student and has no access to a certified check, I asked to charge the entire amount to my credit card. Dee was happy to oblige for a small processing fee and charged only the $195 deposit on the date that I returned the signed contract.

Because of the scarcity of drivers to Denver, my unavailability for a five-day period in early February, and the reluctance of some drivers to work without a certified check, it took five and half weeks before a willing driver was located and contacted me at home. We arranged to meet the following day, and the truck was bound for Denver. It took eight days to arrive because of snow storms en route, but it arrived at my son's door in perfect condition six days before my March 12th deadline.

To ensure that everything had been handled correctly, Dee waited until eight days after the truck arrived at the final destination before contacting me by telephone and charging my credit card for the balance due.

All in all, this was a very satisfactory experience with a very reputable firm and very courteous and communicative people. I had never shipped an automobile before, and these folks did everything possible to answer my questions, address my concerns, and provide me with a good level of comfort. I will contact Specialty Mobile Systems first the next time I am looking for automotive transport.
