I would like to say that Fred at Speedy is probably more frustrated than anyone because this truck driver has been such a horrible liar and is entirely to blame for the situation he finds himself in.

Vitaliy LAPYUK is the driver. EASTERN CARRIERS is the Company he drives for.

The long and short of it is Vitaliy stopped calling Fred at Speedy for 2 days. Vitally on 2 seperate occasions told me to meet him in Portland then Seatlle and no showed on both occasions without calling and telling me he was not going to make it.

Based on his telling me to be at those places I spent an additional $600.00 in trailer rentals and fuel etc.

At one point he agreed to meet me in Boise Idaho where he was "broken down" so I could ge my car.

BUUUUUUUUUT,.,....,I would have to pay him for the entire trip. Nice blackmail.

SO once again he promises to be in Seattle on Monday. He calls me Sunday as promised to give me 24 hours notice to he meet me the next day in Seattle and he will call me at 9am . Mabey 3rd time lucky?? No,.,,.Icall Vitaly 5 times or more over 3 hours,.,.nothing. He turns his phone off.

He doesnt call. I call Fred at Speedy who stated hasnt heard from Vitaliy in 2 days and he thought I had the car already.
I give Fred till noon to find his driver and give me my car!!!

He cant find him and Vitaliys phone is turned off.

I had to call the police to help me get my car back.

All of a sudden Vitaliy is calling. He is in Seattle. I meet him and of course I get the " I want 200 dollars more" routine. "The brakes dont work it has a flat tire and the battery is dead."

Ya,.,..the ignition is on the on position. The brakes are perfectly fine. I have an air tank with me so I fill up the tire myself. THERE IS A LOVELY BIG FOOT PRINT ON THE TOP OF THE LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL THAT MATCHES THE BLACK RUBBER ON THE BOTTOM OF HIS SANDALS.

I will close by saying that two truckers parked next door came over and helped me out after I got the car off the trailer. These guys were fantastic. I cant thank them enough. I will find there bosses and make sure they know that these guys are top notch. Meeting those guys reminded me that a few bad apples shouldnt ruin the batch.
