Place was recommended to us from the man I bought my car from.
My husband got the contract all set up. Paid $450. Car shipped. Showed up on time. Driver offloaded my car. No issues.
Driver said remainder of payment was due. $1200.
I sent a zelle transaction to the company, as I did for the $450. All set. And then driver says I’m actually supposed to pay him. I didn’t realize that.
So, I paid the driver and tried to cancel my Zelle transaction to the company. It was Sunday night and I could not. Next morning I called them to cancel but the payment already went through.
Since then, July 2024, I have called and emailed the company and John Garcia for a refund.
I’m August they said a refund was pending. I kept calling. I have spoken to 2 people there and have been getting the run around.
They have my $1200 knowing that it was an overpayment made in error.
They will not return my $1200 which is basically theft at this point.
