This is the fourth time I've had a car shipped cross-country, and this was one of the most smooth experienced. I used a broker that found Starway Logistic LLC for me. They called the person at pick-up (a family member) the evening before arrive to confirm a window for pick-up, and they arrived well within that window. They thoughtfully parked their truck carefully on the small, residential street so as not to completely block traffic. They quickly loaded and let my family know when they expected to make the delivery.

They made a cross-country delivery (Utah to DC) in THREE DAYS during at least one snowstorm and the "polar vortex" sub-zero temperatures. They called me the evening before arrival to let me know that they would arrive the next day. Unfortunately, they couldn't estimate the time of day given the weather, but I understood.

One minor item is that the driver, a very young guy from Georgia (the country, not the state), told me that he couldn't drop the car in DC proper due to tree heights, so he would deliver in Arlington, which is about 5 mies away. I wasn't completely happy about that, as it required a metro ride with little notice. I've had a car picked up for shipment by another shipper in DC proper in 2011 (in the same neighborhood as my current delivery), so I know that these trucks can make a trip into DC. But, perhaps he is not familiar with the city, and I'd rather travel to the suburbs than have a car damaged during delivery.

They called me about an hour before delivery but I missed the call, so I didn't realize they'd called until the time they arrived. I rushed to meet them (about 30 minutes after they arrived), and the car was already unloaded and waiting for me. As with pick-up, they were very polite and the entire exchange took less than 5 minutes.

I'm very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
