To purchase a vehicle in another state was a difficult thing for me to do. Unseen and uncertainty had be anxious about whether it was the right thing to do. But I had given my word and so I followed through with the sale. Before I completed the transaction, I called a couple carriers and got some estimates.
This being my first vehicle to have delivered, I decided to research the internet for a reliable and honest company. I looked at web pages, searched feedback from transportreview, and did what I thoought was preparation. Was I wrong! Like the rookie I was, I fell for the "we have a truck in the area" trick and a credit car upfront. After eight days of emails, telephone calls, and other items - I was fed up. The company was 5 days past promised pick up and so I cancelled with them (they were rated 5 stars). So I started calling around, getting quotes and promises. Along the way I learned alot about broker companies, trucker friendly companies, and how the system works. Finally, my review lead me to State2State and man am I glad it did. Gilles Gener and Rosie were outstanding. They listened to my teary story and patiently advised me how to get the job done. Bottom line, they promised a pick up date, actually picked up early by 3 days and had my vehicle delivered to my home 3 days early. Their entire process was professional from the initial contact, the dispatcher, and the driver (Alex), originally from Hungary - great accent and hard worker. So if you want it done right - use State2State.
