FYI: State by State attempted to have my original review removed, claiming I was not a customer. After a review by transporterreviews my post was re-added.
I would like to do my best to steer everyone away from this company. I am currently in a BBB dispute with this company and they are full on lying about the situation that occured. What they did to me should not be allowed to happen to anyone else. They blatantly stole my deposit and rendered no service to me. I was called daily by SBS after placing a quote request with an auto transport website. I finally talked to Lou and decided to go with SBS because Lou SEEMED to be genuine in his care for my business. I informed Lou in this call that I would be flying to Arizona on the 3rd and needed my car in AZ by then. He said he would set up a pickup for the 26th so that it had ample tme to get there. To make a long story short(er), Lou failed to note that I mentioned I would be flying in on the 3rd. A driver showed up to pickup my car on the 25th and told me they would be in AZ the next day, the 26th...well before my date of the 3rd. I informed the driver this was not possible for me since I had no one to pick up the car then. I called SBS with no response. When I finally talked to Kelly, she said there were no notes about me flying there on the 3rd and she apologized and said she would reschedule. I didn't hear from SBS and when I did Kelly sounded like she had no idea what was going on and said she would work on it. She told me days later that my car could be picked up on the 6th and delivered on the 10th which was unacceptable for me since I absolutely needed my car to start my job on the 8th so I canceled. Kelly refused to give me my deposit back since she says they dispatched 3 drivers to me. In this BBB dispute SBS claims that I am lying about saying I needed it there on the 3rd. I booked my flight DAYS before I even talked to SBS so I knew EXACTLY when I would be there. They also claim I am lying about the driver saying he would be there the next day. Again, not sure why I would pull that out of thin air. They also said I talked with a dispatcher about when it would be there and that I REFUSED to release my car to ANYONE which are both complete lies. It is a scam to get your deposit and I beg of you, do not fall for it.
