This whole process was ridiculous from the start. We had a car shipped from NJ to Ok. My husband set it up with Sun Auto. Since he didnt want the recipient to have to pay anything out of pocket, my husband asked that his credit card be charged for the entire amount. Sun Auto promised this was not a problem but there would be an additional $25 fee for taxes. My husband confirmed this over the phone with Vanessa twice that this was all set, the recipient wouldnt have to pay cash and there was no problem. She confirmed but seemed very flaky and was hard to get on the phone. The driver, who was actually from another company, was very nice and helpful and prompt. The day of the delivery, the driver called my husband and told him he was ready to deliver and the recipient would need to have cash on hand. My husband explained to him that his card had been charged already for the entire amount and Sun Auto would pay the driver. The driver said Sun Auto doesnt pay him anything, they only set it up. The receipient had to get together $675 to pay for this and we had to pay them back. When we checked the credit card statement, not only had SUn Auto charged us, but another transport company for $350 in the same area. It took my husband several phone calls bu he finally got ahold of Phillip who said the $675 would be credited back to his credit card, but he claimed he had no idea where teh $350 came from. 30 days passed and we saw no credit. My husband called Phillip another 2 times with the same promise of a credit. It has been over two months and nothing. Now the phone numbers dont work, or we only get voicemail. The emails go unanswered and we are out over $1000. We have disputed with our cc company at this point and they are researching. The driver is cooperating and is sending us the invoice so we have proof he was paid cash. My advance - Avoid Sun Auto tranport at all costs! They are fraudulent and have caused nothing but headache!
