This is my second time shipping my car coast to coast in a year. The first time was an absolute horrible living NIGHTMARE....Where I learned a lot about the car shipping industry. You think I would have done a lot of research, but I did not and wow, did I really hit the jackpot here! Jon and Melissa from Suncoast Auto Transport were really great. They were very professional and no BS.....They gave me a fair price and I let them put my car up on the board and it was picked up fairly quickly by Quality Relocation Services out of Spokane, WA. Let me just say that every employee I dealt with at Quality, from the driver who picked up my car at the airport hotel, to the dispatchers, to the guys on the receiving end in Pennsylvania, I can't say enough how really really nice they all were. Extremely positive, hard working and really just all doing a really fine job. If you are lucky enough to get picked up by Quality, your car will be well taken care of by good people who obviously take pride in their job....(OK, if you are the boss over at Quality, please give your employees a nice christmas bonus, they deserve it)...My car did not get dropped off for over a week, but you have to be patient and understand these guys are driving across the country and then have cars to drop off on the other end.And there is weather involved as well. My car didn't end up getting dropped off till after 11pm at night, but the driver called me, told me exactly when he was going to arrive, and additionally texted me and let me know he'd call me when the car was off the carrier and warmed up. (I had to meet them less than five minutes from my house they could not get into apartment parking lot). They were coming from Baltimore, MD when they contacted me and when I picked up the car they told me they had to be in Manhattan by 4am, and they still had two cars on the carrier. I know its a really expensive thing to have your car shipped across the country, but for me, it gave me the peace of mind that I needed because I was not comfortable driving alone across the country at this time of year. These guys work REALLY hard. And let me say as well, last year my car arrived filthy and with a large rock hole in my windshield which I could never get in touch with the shipper it was a lost cause....My car arrived, salty yes and dusty, but without a scratch on it, and immaculate on the inside as I had left it. I have to ship my car back in January, and I can only pray I get picked up again by Quality. Of course, I am using Suncoast again, it was a good experience. And yes, this is the last time. This time I'm staying on the west coast!
