We were trying to schedule a carrier at a lower rate AS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED. We are a broker and were trying to schedule a carrier at this low price at peak season on this route to save our customer money. It was explained to the customer at time of booking that we are a broker and that the lower the price the more difficult it will become to schedule a carrier and the longer it can take. We also sent him multiple status emails explaining the way that the price can affect the pick up and also spoke with him by phone multiple times. We listed his vehicle on the national board which is where every single carrier in the U.S. goes to put their loads together. We also proactively called out to multiple carriers on this route and the rate that the customer was willing to pay was too low. He did not want to go up to the standard rate and chose to cancel at no charge.
