Unfortunately this client gave us wrong information for the delivery address. We send authorization forms to all of our customers that needs to be signed and sent back PRIOR to dispatching a vehicle to a driver. The purpose of this is to ensure that all of the information we have for each load is accurate. It cleary states on our authorization forms that it is very important that the customer reviews all the information to make sure it is correct before signing and sending it back. The customer did, in fact, sign and send these forms back to us stating that all the information was accurate. We gave the driver all the information that was given to us. Once the driver was close to the destination, he realized that the address did not match up with the area he was delivering his load at. We tried to negotiate something between the driver and customer to work this out and do whatever was best for our customer as soon as the driver told us this. Unfortunately, there was a difference of 160 miles EACH WAY for the driver. This is the reason the customer was charged the extra fee. It was not our fault that we were not given the correct information. We take our time with each and every customer to be sure we are given correct addresses and information. We even send this back to the customer to go over thoroughly and sign so that we can be sure all information is correct and there are no misunderstandings. Once all is confirmed, this is the information used to transport the vehicle. Of course, when transporting a vehicle, it is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE that the customer has the correct pick up and deivery information for each vehicle. It is their resonsibility to give this information to us so that we can provide a quick and hassle free transport. Also, we did provide this customer with great service. The vehicle was picked up and delivered within the required time frame. However, it was unfortunate that the customer neglected to give us the correct information.
