This shipment was the return of my son's car from college. I shipped it out to college last August using another broker/carrier. My first shipment with the other carrier was an absolute nightmare. All kinds of promises, and then arguing when the driver picked up due to promises made by the broker that the driver didn't want to do. As this was the first time I've ever shipped a car I was very skeptical of the whole industry. So, when I had to have the car shipped back, I was very skeptical about what I would get. I told Neal Perkins, my broker, that I had a lot of concerns about my last shipment, and explained to him what happened. I also talked with 5 other brokers about this shipment. I trusted Neal on my initial communications, and am glad I did. Everything he promised was completed perfectly. The driver picked up the car as promised, and was very courteous with my son as his car was picked up. No hassles at all. Then, the car was dropped off 3 days earlier than promised which was a huge plus. Anytime I had a question or concern, all it took was a call or e-mail to Neal and I had an answer within an hour (and usually right away). I had quotes a couple hundred dollars cheaper and a couple hundred dollars more than Suncoast. If you are looking for the perfect combination of fair pricing and world class service, don't go anywhere else other than Suncoast. If I ever have to ship a car again, Neal's in my list of contacts.
