Got the job done but they used some shady tactics to extort more money

I reached out to Tempus Logix to help me ship a car for approximately 400 miles. At first, I was pleasantly surprised because they seem to be more communicative than other brokers and even charged a lower broker fee. It turns out that in order to earn my business they gave me a quote for shipping that was significantly lower than everybody else but so low that no driver was willing to accept the bid later on they convinced me to increase my bid by 38% more than the original quote. What I did not know was that this money was not going all to the driver. The increased bid was also so that they could increase their broker fee by more than 10 times. In the end, I ended up paying several hundred dollars more than what was originally quoted and their broker fee was 10 times more than what they were originally asking for I would not use them again.
