Excellence, as expected...

I must admit, now that this is over, I am surprised with the result. But allow me to start at the beginning.

About 5 months ago, I started getting quotes to have my '87 BMW moved from Ark to Nev. As expected, the quoted prices were all over the board. (Between $1500 and $1100, I think.) Financial and economic concerns rose, and I shelved the idea for a while.

Last month, I returned to the quotes and submitted a web request for 5 transport quotes. The prices had gone down slightly, and every quote I received seemed about the same. It was later when I received the followup calls that things became clearer.

Felicia explained what was needed and the transport process well. The price seemed right. I had decided I would wait for one other quote I had requested and make a decision by the end of the week. She took the "delay" well, without any high pressure tactics.

End of the week, I contacted the Car-Transporters to begin the process. I spoke with Greg, who assured me that he could and would take car of my transport from beginning to end. We set the requested ship dates and waited for a carrier to pick up the job. Seven days later, he contacted me and mentioned that this route was not as popular as others, that it may take more time. I said ok and continued to wait, thinking it might be some time.

Two days later, Greg calls stating that he's found a carrier that is willing to deliver the vehicle, but he's asking for an additional $50. Did I want to continue to wait, or choose this carrier. I appreciate that I had the option. I chose to pay the additional $50, and consider it a fair price to pay.

To end in short, the car was picked up with no problem, delivered with no problem, and I am very happy with the service provided by the Car-Transporters.
