After receiving a recommendation from a member of clubgp.com, I filled out the online form at Mytransportconnection.com, and within 5 minutes had a quote for $1000. This was around 10:30 AM Eastern time on a Sunday. 10 minutes later, Bill (owner) called me and explained how he works.

After talking with Bill and based on the recommendation I had received, I went ahead and paid a deposit. Bill said he had a carrier he normally works with on cross-country trips, and he would connect with them on Monday, but in the meantime, he'd put my request up on the dispatch board and see if anyone was available sooner.

It was no more than 15 minutes later that Bill called me back, said he found someone within 20 miles of my pickup location in CA with room on his trailer, and it was a company he knew well, for a total cost of $850. He got the driver on a conference call with us, and he said he could pick the car up in 30 minutes.

The car was at my in-laws, so I had to call and see if they were around - it was only about 8:30a there by this time. They were out of town, but would be back early that afternoon. I called the driver back, and he said that was fine, he'd be around.

Pickup was ontime and hassle-free. They just said 7-10 days at that point. The next Saturday I got a call from the driver that he would drop off the next day. He called Sunday morning a few blocks away, and I walked out to meet him and get the car (I'm in a neighborhood of culdesacs, no room to turn around a car hauler, so he got as close as he could). Car was fine, no issues at all.

Later that Afternoon, Bill called to make sure everything had gone smoothly. I highly recommend Transport Connection, and will use them again if I have need of a car hauler.
