Bill is the best. I was overwhelmed with all the brokers emailing me with so many different prices. I finally understood the process. Here is the scoop. The only way to move a vehicle is by having it posted on the National Load Boards for Vehicle Shipping – with is like a Central Dispatch (a website that only brokers and trucking companies get access to) A broker will list your car with a dollar offer/bid for the move. I was moving my car from one small town on the east coast to another small town on the west coast. So, Bill put out a ‘bid’ for $1500 to move my car. Within minutes we had two transportation companies call him about the car. Here is the good part-- Bill then negotiated the bid down to $1250! Since Bill charges an up-front broker fee, the difference of $250 was passed on to me. If I had gone with any other company that gives a flat rate it would be the company that kept the discount. I was on the phone for the whole process. Bill did a search of the company wanting the job to make sure they had a good safety record. My car was picked up the next day just as promised and it was delivered with any problems. On the delivery end, I didn’t want the people accepting the car to have to worry about paying -- so I did Cash on Pick Up instead of Cash on Delivery. I highly recommend Transport Connection.
