Shipped a 98 Volvo wagon to son at college. Although it was more than I expected to pay, there were no hidden costs, just the broker's fee and payment to the trucker. I knew how much I was paying ahead of time. We were not in a hurry to get the car out there, but it did arrive a couple of days later than originally indicated. Picked up Tues afternoon, supposed to be there Friday evening (which seemed a little fast!), Sat morning at latest, arrived after lunch on Sunday. Truck driver was delightful, but I found it surprising that he did not have a GPS (or didn't use it!) Final pickup was a little confusing, because my child was not yet familiar with meeting places in Bay Area. Customer service from the broker, Transport Connection, was very good. I felt comfortable that he would follow up if there were any problems. I would recommend his services again. Trucking company was Holton Transport LLC out of Mississippi.
