I called up Magic Carpet and tried to arrange a vehicle transport from Arizon to New Jersye. Everything was going fine just right before the vehicle got picked up. Magic Caprter made a promise which they could not stand by! Red Carpet charged me a $250 brokerage fee along with a $625 for transportation. I have been waiting for delivery for about two weeks and the vehicle still has not reached me. Apparently my vehicle was held due to Magic carpet not being able to pay to carriers, they have issues with carriers and are holding customers vehicles as a collateral! My car was held as a "hostage" by the carrier due to Magic Carpet not paying them a lot of money.
I would advise not to trust this company since they are going down, they are selling company and throwing carrier pay's just right out of the window!
Magic carpet, Red Carpet, Cascade are all Transport Holding company and they all operate under the same MC number 500874. Their Broker bond insurance is apparently also exhausted and has no pay out power.
I will be going to small claims court in order to claim my vehicle!
I will never ship my vehicle through any of these companies ever again, I would advise others do take this review in consideration.
