I contacted Transport Relief for a quote to transfer car from Florida to Connecticut on May 1st. They gave me a quote of $550, which was a great quote in comparison to other quotes I had received. In order to initiate the order, I had to give them a $200 deposit (no credit cards accepted, which should have been my first alert), by way of a routing number from my checking account. This way, the $200 was transferred to them immediately and I had no chance of recovering that money. Three weeks went by and I kept getting calls they could not transfer for original quote, but needed AT LEAST $300 more. If I thought I had to pay a total of $850 I would have gone with one of the other transporters for less. I asked for my $200 back and forget about it. Bottom line is they make sure they are the lowest quote out there ($550 in my case), they grab your $200 deposit and then start demanding more money. I'm still waiting for them to pick the car up and they say they cannot do it for their quoted price. All I want is my $200 back. Shame on me for giving them the $200 CASH. Lesson learned. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.
