This company is super sketchy. I got an initial quote to move my car from Dallas, TX to Birmingham, AL for $410 by a guy named Harvey. My wife is a paralegal and she and I read over the contract many times before deciding to agree to paying the $175 RE-FOUNDABLE deposit. I also called "Harvey" to make sure that the $175 would come off of the original $410 at delievery which means we would pay the driver $235 COD. We print out the contract and attempted to fax several times, finally we decided to e-mail Tri-Star (Harvey) in particular telling him the fax would not go through but that I signed my name everywhere on the return email and he said that his dispatcher said that was good enough. So 5 days later I get a call from the truck driver telling me my car would be delivered in the afternoon with a balance of $500 due COD! I call Tri-Star and they are rude and basically tell me that I am trying to screw them over because I dont want to pay the driver his money and that my car will be put in storage at my own expense! He also had the nerve to tell me that the reason I didnt bother to fax the contract back in was because I didnt agree to it and that "Harvey" was unavailable. They even sent me another contract through e-mail that looked like the original except it has an added line that was not in the original that I printed out and attempted to fax reading telling me about a broker fee of $170 and my total transport would be $670 and I owed the drive $500! Even as of RIGHT NOW I am getting personal email attacks from the admin@tristartrucking.net telling me that I need to "deal with myself, I am a gameplayer and that I've tried screwing over other companys before them". This is so completly unproffesional that I cannot believe they are even in buisness. TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!
