I am not typically the kind of person who writes bad reviews if some is a little off their game (we all make mistakes), but this time I must worn one and all not to do business with this company. From the beginning, I got several quotes. They weren't the cheapest but it was a good price from Jersy to San Diego for $900.00, so we booked it. I was assured that they would get the car on time and deliver the car at price promised, so I gave a $175.00 deposit. Next the &%#* hit the fan, I was called and told that the check bounced, I checked with my bank and the money had cleared, then they called and said it was their mistake. After a week I called to see if the car had been picked up and they told me in a couple more days, two days pass still nothing, 15 days later I ask for my deposit back and they say no we have the car, which was a lie. Finally they get the car and it takes them serveral days to deliver it. The day before delivery I get a call from the trucking company that has the car, not Tri-Star by the way, a company called Ace auto trans, Inc. She says the car will be there in next day and she wanted 1100 more, I told her the agreement was 900 and I already paid 175 so 725 was the balance and I forwarded a copy of the receipt to her. She told me she didn't care and that if I didn't pay more I wouldn't get my car and that was it. I called and talked to Tri-Star and they told me tuff luck, the guy even told me "get screwed"! Great customer service right? Not! He had booked me for 900 and on the same day brokered the deal out for 1275! They clearly lied to me, I plan to file a complaint aganist their license and their bond. If you have a similar story contact me and let's start a class action suit against them... If you have a choice, I would turn and run from these guys, bad news!
Lastly, the windshield was broke when I got my car, they didn't pay for that either

unfortunately this customer is an out and out liar, he gave us the info that the vehicle was a motorcycle and it was priced as such, when we got to the auction we found that it was an suv and therefore had to raise the price and the customer was informed of that. All the way thru the move the customer lied and tried to cheat us, he even called the police at the time of delivery and made the drivers life miserable, he even indicated that he was going to shoot the driver, he threatened me as well being a jew and proceeded to curse me out. the car was picked up 13 days later and delivered in 11 days from pickup. The customer had never reported any damage, when he does it will be handled. Also, filing a claim against the bond will not help him, since the bond is for the use of the truckers, which he will soon find out, this guy is a thief and he knows it.
