This company is the definition of terrible service and communication. Read all of their reviews and anything you see that is negative, WILL happen to you. I'm pretty sure there are 2 people working for this entire company and they are both incompetent.

Here is their game: They are a broker that sub-contracts the job to drivers. So they bid on the shipment at the lowest price to beat out the legitimate shipping companies. The problem is that they need to find a driver to accept the low ball bid they submitted. When they can't find a driver to ship at their the rate they promised, they will tell you that one is scheduled and they will be there by some random date, but the problem is, they can never find a driver. Good game!

I purchased a car and needed it shipped out from MA to MD. I absolutely had to have the car out by 01/10/2018 because the seller was going out of town. I originally booked with Tropical Auto Carriers on 01/03/2018. Per the review and rating- My car NEVER got shipped and the deal fell through and cost me money.

Here is my experience with a timeline:

1. Booked through Uship on 01/03/2018
2. Received a dispatch notification with questions i needed to answer on 01/04/2018 6:21pm
3. Responded to all questions on 01/04/2018 10:11pm
4. Received a response email from Danielle from Tropical auto carriers stating she was working on the pickup on 01/05/2018 3:32pm
5. I had to email her on 01/06/2018 to get a status update since it had been over 24 hours 5:49pm
6. Called into the customer service line to find out what the status was. the rep told me that they are working on a driver and would call me back
01/07/2018 3:00pm
7. NO CALL BACK 01/07/2018
8. Received a email from Danielle stating the car would be picked up NO LATER then 01/10/2018 5:53pm (they are closed at this point)
9. Called into customer service to find out the status was and they said they had to get another driver and they would call me back 01/09/2018 11:00am
10. NO CALL BACK 01/09/2018
12. Called into customer service again asking what the status was and she said the driver should have called and she would find out and call me back asap. 01/09/2018 4:45pm
13. NO CALL BACK (and now they are closed and this was the day that they said NO LATER THEN)
14. Called into customer service and asked whats going on and she said she would find out whats going on and promised to call back. 01/10/2018 10:00am
15. NO CALL BACK
16. Called in for the second time in one day and same response. 01/10/2018 3:00pm
17. NO CALL BACK
18. Danielle emails me and says "let me find out whats going on and ill get it straightened out 01/11/2018 4:37pm
19. NO CALL NO EMAIL (were are now 2 days past the shipping date since this day is over) 01/11/2018
20. I called super upset because not one time has anyone ever called me back. I then cancelled the shipping. 01/12/2018 10:00am


I didn't look at their reviews prior to booking because i used Uship. I thought that they vetted the carriers. unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way. Please do yourself a favor and don't use these people. Of course they will have the best rate because their pricing is unobtainable. On top of it all, their customer services is the absolute worse. literally, I called them over 8 times, with not ONE call back. Seriously, not ONE call back.

Oh, the thing that bothered me the most was that when you call and they say they are going to call you back because they know its urgent, when you talk to them at 4:45 pm... They just close up shop and go home and leave the voicemail on. GLAD YOU'RE relaxing on your couch when your customers are panicking about the shipping!
