I used Us Car Go Freight Shipping June 21st 2023, my car from California to Michigan. I was quoted one price signed the contract, then turn around my contact Emma Jones had a new contract with a higher price. I’m like what I already signed. She said we can alter price it’s not final till driver signs I’m like what?? This is such a scam to get you in with lower price. So I’m like that’s not how a contract works and nor is fair. She said she tried talking driver down when they discussed original price. I’m starting not to believe it was the driver who changed price but idk. But she said she’ll take off her 50$ brokerage fee. I said ok. And the contract was redacted and I thought final. So my car finally arrived Sunday and ONE DAY ahead of schedule, I was excited. So despite the bad communication between her and the driver at first. It was all good and I was going to give him a tip for getting it here earlier. So I pay him cash the remainder I owe after paying deposit of 250$ so my remainder is 950$. So I thought. He counts it and is saying huh it’s short, I said short? Of what he showed me is phone with what the customer owes at delivery which indeed said 1000$ I say what??. I find my contract and it states I owed 950$ at time of delivery. I’m like well what’s funny is I was going to give you a tip anyway and it coincidentally is 50$. So he said thank you though for doing that and contact them to see why it wasn’t change to reflect on my end. I said well you got paid the price anyway but technically part of it was suppose to be your tip. LOL funny how that works out. But anyway. I contact Emma Jones and tell her what happened and that I don’t like be bombarded like that. After you already changed price on me once it was originally 850$ remainder owed, than it went to 1000$ than it went to 950$ after you said you’ll take off your broker fee AND I HAVE TEXT PROOF OF ALL THIS. I receive NO RESPONSE after this. So I feel they scammed me from beginning. I didn’t like the vibe I got here from jump but it was too late to find another carrier. Also they don’t do exact door to door service. I had to drop off in the next couple neighborhoods over, in a shopping center lot and had to take Lyft back. Then pick a block from me in a parking lot (that one wasn’t bad.) But no I would not recommend them & I def will not use them again However I like that my car was successfully got here and earlier than told. So two stars for driver Mihai !
