As a first time user, I spent many hours reading reviews and communicating with potential brokers. After I learned that many strong reviews were paid, I just read those that were not paid and not "Excellent". Most that had strong reviews also had very poor ones, showing that not every broker knows his carriers well, albeit hard to be right every time. So how did I pick Ultimate? It took about 15 minutes, after I belatedly figured out that I should only look at brokers with both strong unpaid reviews, minimum or no complaints AND strong BBB [Better Business Bureau] ratings. Start with BBB, there aren't many there. I could have saved a lot of time if I had been smart enough to go that dual qualification route to start with. Hopefully this tip may help you avoid wasted time!

As to my actual experience, the carrier waited to pickup and deliver at our convenience, could have delivered faster. Everything went just the way Patrick Lynch at Ultimate said it would. He really knows how to pick carriers! Pat let us know when the transporter would arrive and the driver, Yugen, called two hours before arrival and then again when he was very near. He quickly put to rest my concern about driving a Prius as he was familiar with one his uncle owned. He was very pleasant, polite, thorough and knowledgeable. My daughter greatly appreciated the call from Yugen's friend Vladimir 1 1/2 hours ahead of delivery on the day we requested and a second call with 15 minutes notice. [Yugen could not wait until Monday morning to deliver]. Not only was it considerate, he was true to his word about the timing. Also, he did not rush her as she looked over the car and he was attentive to its condition, wishing to re-attach the antenna himself which i had detached and put inside the car. The car was in precisely the same condition as when it was shipped. Can't beat that!
