SCAM AND FRAUD. On yelp, you can see they pay people to retract their reviews on this website. https://www.yelp.com/biz/ultimate-transport-123-baldwin-2?q=fraud Do not EVER book them for anything. I put in a general request to get my car shipped and got calls from tens of companies but picked this one because of the sales rep, Heather Ann. She was soooo nice and attentive and promised me that my car would be picked up before my flight. I fell for it, I should have done my research but was so busy with work and the move. I asked the car to be picked up a day before my flight, she said "Let's do two days before so you don't have to stress about it, we have a 2 day pick up window". I signed the contract with the agreed upon pickup date on it. I called Heather Ann a few times that week with questions, over and over she told me my car was going to be picked up on time. The day came and no one called me so I called her, she said the pickup would be the next day (day before my 6 am flight). The next day, no call, so I asked her again and she said dispatch was going to call me any minute now and worst case scenario "I could leave my key in an envelope". "That's just how transport is". I was SHOCKED and told her "Heather Ann you promised me, my contract says the pick up was going to be yesterday" then she said actually no, pick up would be within 10 days of that date. Apparently it's in the contract, which I signed while I was on the phone with her. My husband called the company and talked to multiple people, they all repeat the same lines "I don't see that on my end". "Heather Ann might have said that but that's not on me". Then they charged us $100 because we wanted to cancel. I think their whole business is built on cancellation fees. They screwed us over BAD. Our flight is tomorrow and we have to figure out what to do with our packed car. We already reported them to Better Business Bureau and sent the recorded phone calls along with the contract to our lawyer. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
