I was given several quotes to move my SUV from Long Island, NY to UT, and this company had the third lowest quote. When I called I spoke with "HANNAH" and told her that I had received two other quotes that were lower than United Car Transport, she went onto this website and told me that "the other company's reviews weren't good enough" so they would NOT be honoring the "We'll beat or match a competitor's quote" offer. Um....OK. She said that "look United Car Transport has perfect reviews". She sold me a bunch of crap like a used car salesman and I believed it! How is this possible??

I agreed to use this company but before I did, I told her SPECIFICALLY: I am moving from NY to Utah and I have a bunch of stuff in my car- clothes, blankets, baby items, etc. Is this going to be a problem?? And she told me NO DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT. She told me that although the contract states you are not supposed to have items in your vehicle, most of the drivers were cool with allowing you to bring your stuff as well. So, I believed her. She also said: DO NOT LET THE DRIVERS CHARGE YOU ANY ADDITIONAL FEES when you pick up your vehicle. She warned that sometimes they try to get more money out of you and that is NOT allowed because they sign an agreement. They cannot simply decide to charge you more money than what is stated on the contract. Ok, I felt secure and safe with this company.

Days pass and I do not hear anything back from United Car Transport. Hannah said that someone will contact me as soon as they find a driver. So, I call the company back and ask what is going on? They proceed to tell me that they can't find a driver to come and pick my car up from Long Island because none of the drivers want to pay the tolls to get onto LI. Um....WTF?! Ok, so they tell me to wait a few more days and then someone will surely take the contract.

They were right, and a few days later, a driver takes the contract. I get ONE AND A HALF HOUR NOTICE before they pick up my vehicle! I now have to frantically call around to family members for someone to take off work early to come and meet this truck driver (I am in Utah already) to turn over my vehicle. This driver speaks little to no English and talking to him was very painful. He calls me and tells me they have to drive my SUV out to meet him on some road because his truck won't fit into the neighborhood. OK.....then he calls me to tell me that he is going to charge me an extra $50 because I have stuff in my car! I argued that I was told it was ok by the company and he says well you have no insurance on this stuff so we have to charge you $50. And this $50 will do what for me, excactly? Not only that, but he says he isn't even the driver that will be taking my vehicle to Utah, he is only driving it to New York City! WTF!!! So why is he going to charge me the extra fee for some other guy? It just didn't make sense, and I was really annoyed. I tried calling the company and just got passed from one person to the next. Finally I talked to GIL who I was told is the owner. This surprised me because he didn't seem professional, and his English was absolutely horrible. He sounds concerned and said he is going to call the driver and CALL ME RIGHT BACK. Well guess what? That was last week. I called several times a day, and continue to get the runaround. No one is helping me, I just keep getting answers like, "Oh, he's at lunch." or "Oh he's busy, he'll call you when he's done" or "Oh he is out of the office, he will call you when he gets back." Furthermore, HANNAH seems to have disappeared completely. I cannot get a hold of her either.

I feel like I've been SCAMMED in a major way. I had the displeasure of speaking with a ROBIN REYNOLDS. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS! This is not a company where the customer is always right, she was outwardly blaming me, annoyed that I was "complaining", and was extremely unprofessional and rude as hell. I cannot believe this woman even has a job!! I've never been treated so rudely, nor have I ever been accused by a customer service representative!!

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. I still do not have the name, number of the driver, I have not received a call back from United even though I have been calling since last week, and I do not expect a good outcome from this entire situation. Please I urge you to consider going elsewhere. Feel free to contact me with any questions

Heather Fiorita, was booked with two different brokers for over two weeks before calling us. We explained that drivers would not take her car for the price she wanted to pay ($800); our price was $1150. We allow our customer to transport up to 100lbs in the trunk of their car. Apparently Heather had her car fully packed; according to the driver she left ONLY the driver seat empty!! More than 500lbs!!! Usually for this kind of extra weight, drivers charge $300 and over. However, this driver only asked for an extra $50 that we agreed to pay him. From the moment the car was picked up Heather called our office no less than 25 calls per day, wanting an update on the location of the car. We provided Heather with the driver cellphone, but she chose to harass us as a revenge (do not know why). This customer needs to send us a fruit basket and not post us a negative review.
