2/28/2023 update!!!! Beware do not uses this company or you could end up with no vehicle and a $13k clean up bill because as of yesterday 2/28 i was informed the company united freeway transport hired form my job, didn't have valid insurance. Even though i was told they had insurance for 1 billion dollars and their website says all their carriers are guarantee to have no less that $100,000 coverage from there carriers and entered a contract for an insured company. now they say its not there responsibility to make sure the companies are actually covered with active insurance and to figure it out myself whats the purpose of this company thats supposed to be the professonials.
Dont trust them or use them if you dont want ot be out of pocket over $13k for clean up and your vehicle and property.
I booked a transport thru this company with their agent Ben Morgan. Our RV was to be taken from Oklahoma to Idaho. It will never arrived in Idaho because the company he brokered with had a non licensed driver during it who totaled it into pieces on the highway in near elk mountain Wyoming. He was ticketed and lied to the state trooper that it was his personal camper to avoid the repercussions from the department of transportation. He also abandoned it in pieces on the side of the highway. No one has helped me get a hold of the company to get it taken care off they are ghosting us and Ben has not been very helpful he won’t call me to speak just text says don’t worry he’s on my side not the drivers. It’s really disheartening that’s a lot of property worth quite a bit of money destroyed and left the side if the highway. We found out when we traveled past the wreckage an hour or so after it happened and watched the driver drive off when he saw us. no one even called us about the accident. When I called The company lied saying their driver was hit and in the hospital but the police report and the trooper say that’s not true. It was a single vehicle that ran off the roadway accident. I had to find and hire a tow company to do the removal with no help
To the response from the owner. Yes I have the packet you sent and it’s actually not the right information and they are questioning coverage because it was a revoked licensed driver. So your suggestion is not the best way to resolve this. According to your cfo your company is supposed to be doing an investigation and getting back to me. The lackadaisical response you put here is infuriating as I hired what is presented as reputable bonded transport broker company to hire properly licensed and insurers transport company that was vetted which is not what happened. what is the point of using a broker if they do not verify these very important things. Also your agent lied about the insurance coverage. He said it was 1 billion which is Definitely untrue and there a question on if it’s even a million or only $750,000 all these things indicate they were not properly vetted by your company to be hired out. Not to mention it was a person with a REVOKED license.
