Do not use, Ben emailed & said he had a cancellation and a spot available confirmed for 10Jun from door to door; should have know the business better & this was flat out lie & the ol' bait/switch. As soon as I made the deposit the story changed; maybe a spot, wait now I have to pay more to ship it, wait they can't deliver it but can maybe get it within 300 miles? What a nightmare, finally the day I'm leaving someone picks it up after tons of calls on my behalf & most of my legwork to follow-up.
After it is picked up & delivered to CA I ask if there will be any additional charges to the 1200? The reply is no as I couldn't even get it to my original destination, low & behold I find out the drop off place is charging me a daily fee that I have to pay. I had originally planned for a friend to sign for it at the final destination but 300 miles away in SFrancisco meant I needed to interupt my vacation to deal with pick up.
Ben is nice until he gets the deposit & then won't talk to you (fast talker, tells you what you want to hear but isn't truthful on the real estimate details, doesn't care about you & passes you off to the henchman: Jerry. A real piece of work, very condesending, rude and has no customer service skills; actually said "Do you want someone to to kiss your ass or get your car"; very unprofessional especially after haggling & jacking up the price & basically not getting what I had been led to believe was the service & price.
Also, I have had many cars delivered over the years & this was by far the worst & only bad experience I've had.
Stay Away from VIP & look at all the feedback, it is very true & I regret not heeding the warnings myself.
