While the internet quote I got from this company was technically the cheapest quote, a simple phone call to the company, and the staff was able to explain a little bit of the process to me to give me a little bit of a better understanding of it. I should have just stayed on the phone and asked about a the price for a sooner pick-up rather than the cheaper rate that was based on a pickup that would be weeks away. I called another company (Sat), and was promised a pickup window of Mon-Tue. Wednesday rolls around, the other company still didn't have a pick-uplined up, plus they called me, wanting more, and also trying to change up the payment details, which were the biggest issues I was trying to make sure were NOT going to be an issue. Ended up calling Webster Hauling back on Wednesday, and they had a truck ready to pick my car up by Friday! At the promised price, and the payment term. There were some other issues, that would be too much to get into here, caused by the other shipping company I contacted that was not Webster, but Webster was able to deal with those issues as well (and they were not really insignificant in my mind), and the car was delivered safely and in a timely matter. While Webster was technically the cheapest quote, the shipping price was actually not the cheapest. however I knew that going in, they explained they were a broker, and the way the system works, is the cars with the higher shipping prices get picked up first. Not only did they explain it, they were actually able to do what they promised, and stick to the term of the agreed upon deal. I would not hesitate to deal with these guys again, if my future plans involve shipping another car.
