Circumstances caused me to have to travel from Washington state to Georgia for an extended period of time, requiring me to have my car while there for mobility. I had just acquired my dream car, a 1967 Jaquar special edition, candy apple red, and I was going to be extremely careful about the company I chose to transport "my red baby" from point A to point B. I believe in comparative shopping so I called several transport companies to compare prices, the manner in which they transport their vehicles, and the credentials that the management requires of their drivers. After speaking with several of the companies, all but one deviatoted from the quote that they had origionally given after attempting to negotiate a contract. These companies required an up front deposit, but after I thought we had established a price, they began asking for additional money that never had been discussed during our initial conversation which was totally corrupt. Consequently, I cancelled three different contracts to transport my car because by the time they added all the additional charges I was paying hundreds more than what I was origionally quoted. Just as I was about to give up hope, I contacted We Will Transport It based in Hollywood, Florida. When I spoke to William, the owner of the company, I shared my frustration regarding the numerous fraudulent encounters I had had while trying to get my car transported safely from Washington to Georgia. William did not seem surprised by the experience that I had and explained that this was a common practice among many of the transport companies. To his regret, he said he wished that there were more legal consequences for the companies that regularly do this to their clients because it is not only unethical, but relects badly on the honest companies like his. William gave me a quote which never fluctuated, the driver had outstanding credentials, was alway in communication and accomodating to my schedule, and moved my precious car in an enclosed carrier.
