I would give them 0 stars but it won't let me. Not professionals at all! We are a professional carrier and I booked a load with We will Transport it last week to pick up a truck listed at 7,000 lbs. We are a Hot Shot company with 25' flatbed and can only haul 8,500 lbs. My driver drove 186 miles to Eau Claire, WI to pick up a truck going to Texas that we were told by the broker weighed 7,000 lbs. My driver loaded the truck and went directly to the CAT scales. The weight of the truck was 10,560 lbs, we immediately took it back and promptly unloaded it. It would have been illegal for my driver to haul this truck. We contacted the owner of the truck and explained why we couldn't deliver his truck to him. This gentleman informed us that the broker, William Meyer told him he was going to list it at 7,000 lbs even after he was specifically told that the truck weighed over 10,000 lbs. The reciever, the owner of the truck told us that he had problems with William prior to this disaster. It wasn't just a little off, we're talking 3,560 lbs. That's a big deal when your maximum weight is 8,500 lbs. William at We will Transport it downright lied to us about the weight. I have been trying since Friday to get ahold of William without any success. He's always "gone for the day" or "out of the office" I've left several messages and a voicemail. Still waiting for William to return my call. Not only did he leave us high and dry but this was on a late Friday afternoon! Leaving us with an empty trailer almost 500 miles from home. Also when I booked the load he called me back trying to say the pay was $100 less than what the posting said but fortunately I always print the original posting! William needs to make this right, it's not like it was an honest make, it was pure deception and he doesn't even have the decency to return my calls or try to make things right. I do not recommend doing business with this company!
