Dispatcher booked a load through these guys to haul a connex box listed at 11k pounds. Drove 106 miles to the pick up to find a wrecker there (was told there would be a crane) to load this thing onto my trailer. Says he’s gonna have to lift it from one side and set it on the trailer, then lift it from the other side and have me drive under and push it the rest of the way onto the trailer. Then he tells me that it’s 13-14k, and it’s full. Doesn’t know exactly what’s in it, and nobody has a key to open it up, so that’s another pretty big red flag. 13k is beyond my capability, so I refuse the load. Had no cell service, so I couldn’t even contact anybody on the spot. Had to run back into town. Jonathan, the broker, refuses to acknowledge any of these issues and blames me for not verifying weight with person I met to get loaded (which was apparently the wrecker driver). From the looks of some of these reviews, this is a pretty common thing that they do. Deceptive, dishonest, misleading, major communication issues and clearly no knowledge of business ethics or morals.
