First and Worst.

I put out a call for transporting my suburban and was inundated with offers. Nick from Webster called, and I decided to go with them. I was told to give him a deposit - Which I found out later was a big mistake, and that they should NEVER have asked for one until a truck was confirmed. I then did not hear from them for days, and when I called them they said, "We're trying to get the best deal for YOU". Excuse me? I paid for a service and I don't have a reason for a deal. I told them this, and that I needed to get the car moved. They said they had 10 business days
(Up to 16 calendar days). I was trapped. They told me no one would come for that money, and I now knew that I was getting taken for a ride. I called another company, and the guy laughed and said that NO one would ever come for the money I was given a confirmation for, and that I should NEVER have paid first. "Live and learn", he said. I called the company back and demanded my money. They asked me to put up more for a driver and they would get one ASAP. BING! I put up $950 and one can that day! Wow! That plus the deposit I already paid for them to make a call, put me at $1,075.00. This is $125 more than a legitimate offer I had after I gave this company my word to go with them.
Moral of the story: 1. Don't pay until they play. 2. Get a promised pickup time in writing, with money back guarantee
3. Compare apples to apples and check the apples for worms.

No way was it bait and switch. Customer asked for lower price than we recommended. Please keep in mind on all quotes, us or anyone, is estimated and if you request a lower price than our quote, it will most likely take longer to get done. We quoted the regular price to Tim and he asked us to lower it by 125 since he "Was not in hurry". We told him it could take longer at the lower price. He stated that he was not in hurry. When we had a carrier call and ask for the regular price, we called Tim and he asked us to book it with the carrier.
