Painless, easy and flexible. i had a few concerns ahead of time and wanted to mitigate them by adjusting the contract. the concerns had to do with a specific pickup window (Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm) and conditions under which my down payment would be fully refundable (ex. if the driver showed up outside of my pickup window).
Webster Services functions as a broker who puts shipper and carrier together. i think they did an excellent job. however, the more important part of the transaction, pickup, in-transit, delivery, is governed by a completely different contract between the shipper and carrier. It is my understanding that Webster Services, or any other broker, has very little involvement or liability on this side of the transaction.
regardless, Webster Services did a great job, were very responsive and easy to work with, and worth the fee i paid them. Thanks!
